In June 2013, Charlie Dryden was diagnosed with a rare type of blood cancer - and told that her chances of survival were very slim, let alone having a baby.

"I thought I was going to lose her at one point," said mother, Lynn Ward.

So you can understand why Lynn was so overcome when her daughter - who has since been given the all-clear - announced that she was pregnant.

Her family caught the emotional moment on camera, and we guarantee it will give you goosebumps.

Check it out:

On 3rd June 2015, Charlie and her partner, Matthew Booth, welcomed a beautiful baby boy, whom they named Carter.

Speaking in the video, Charlie said emotionally: "I just feel amazing at the moment. It's a great relief to have had Carter.

“It's what I wanted for so long.”

She added: “There were times when I thought this day would never come."

Now, to celebrate her recovery and becoming a mother, Charlie has made a very important decision.

She and her sister have decided to run the Race For Life at Wolverhampton’s West Park, to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
