The Old Crown in Digbeth, Birmingham, is no stranger to ghostly goings on.

There have, since 1368, been reports of a spirit haunting the pub.

And now the ghoul, who reportedly pinches women’s bottoms and smashes bottles, has been caught in action on CCTV.

The video, which was captured on Halloween 2014, shows a bottle of blackcurrant cordial mysteriously being pushed across the table surface and falling onto the ground.

Spookier still? When it hits the ground it doesn't smash or fall over - it simply continues to slide eerily across the floor.

Check it out in the video below:

Andy Lightfoot, 48, who can be seen sitting at the bar in the clip, told News Dog Media: “It was very freaky.

"We couldn’t understand how on earth the bottle toppled over the bar like that.”

The Old Crown’s Landlord, Ciaran Healy, added: "When I saw the recording, I couldn’t believe it. I tried to explain it away.

“I thought maybe Andy and Rudie had used some string to push the bottle but there’s no rational explanation for what happens in that video.

"It’s shaken me.”

What do you think of the footage - proof of a ghost, or a very clever prank?
