The video begins innocently enough; a young mother records herself singing into her son's iPad, seeming peaceful and relaxed.
But, around the one minute mark, she becomes distracted by her young son spilling his milk - and goes on a furious rampage, screaming at her children, calling them names, apparently hitting out at them, and reducing them to tears.
"My son watched this with me and he was terrified his mother would find out I watched this and that he would be hit again"
Shane Hamre, whom is father to one of the woman's two sons (although he is no longer in a relationship with her), discovered the video when his little boy was staying with him.
He explained: "I found this video on my son's iPad that was obviously recorded by his mother.
"She is a military (army) wife. I apologise for the horrible singing, but watch and listen after the 1 minute mark.
"You will hear her smacking my son and her other son, and the God awful things she screams at my poor son."
He added: "My son watched this with me and he was terrified his mother would find out I watched this and that he would be hit again.
"He said she hits him when she is mad. Nobody's kid deserves this."

The father added: "I took this to court today, and once again our wonderful Kitsap County judges did NOTHING. They basically told me 'too bad'.
"If this was a female complaining about the father, the father would be arrested. I am so so so so sad for my son.
"Please watch this and share this. I want this to go viral. I want the news sources to find out about this. I want to change the discrimination against men in Kitsap County.
"We are supposed to be equal, but if you are the man and you have a concern for your child, good luck getting them to do anything about it! PLEASE SHARE!!!!"
The video has received close to 15,000 views on YouTube and over two million on Facebook, which was enough notice to get Hamre a court date on 20th February, but the outcome has yet to be made public.
If the allegations of abuse are true, then we hope this family gets all the help they need.
