Ever wondered what would happen if you could speak the same language as your cat?

Well, this pet owner did more than just wonder; she actually downloaded an app which promised to translate her human words into a miaow-based language that her moggy would understand.

In the video, Penny Adams can be seen sitting on the floor and holding her phone in her hand.

She then activates the miaowing sound on her smartphone - and, immediately, her cat Flam rushes over to investigate.

But, as he listens to what her app has to say, Flam suddenly seems less friendly…

Check out his reaction below:

Yup, we think it's safe to assume that Penny accidentally smack-talked her pet.

Penny told The Mail: "[The app] worked, but it also got an unusual reaction from Flam, who proceeded to walk up slowly and pop me in the head. We laughed so hard.

"Who knows what the app was really saying in cat voice, but he sure didn't like it."
