Microsoft have launched a new tool that uses facial analysis to determine your true age - based purely on one photo of your face.

The How Old Do I Look site has been gathering millions of hits this week after its launch on Wednesday, with everyone desperate to determine if they’re beating their age - or surpassing it.

Michelle Keegan got bang on 28

Classically, the Twittosphere has reacted with anger and happiness - depending on how that particular person fared.

Madonna should certainly be pleased, with the site registering her as a sprightly 31-year-old. Whereas 19-year-old singer Lorde has gained ten years, coming in at 29.

We put some of our other favourite stars through the site to see how they fared.

Holly Willoughby bizzarely got 38 - despite not having a wrinkle in sight

Kelly Brook should be pleased - as a high definition snap of her came out as a year below her actual age of 35.

We were pretty shocked that the fresh faced presenter Holly Willoughby was estimated as 4 years older than her 34-years.

Katie Price got dead on 36, while Michelle Keegan was also correctly estimated at 28.

When we tried it on ourselves, we had vastly differing results - from extremely flattering (we lost four years, get in!) to being estimated at a decade over our actual age.

Lesson learned? Take this with a pinch of salt!
