British students are often depicted as party-loving, sex mad youngsters, but rarely are they shown sharing what can be one of life’s most tender moments: The First Kiss.

'QUEER' COUPLE TOLD TO SIT APART AT A FAMILY RESTAURANT

After taking inspiriting from the viral Internet video ‘First Kiss’ which was made famous earlier this year, twenty students- who had never met before- were paired up and asked to kiss for the first time in front of a camera.

For most of the students, the encounter starts of as adorably awkward with patches of giggling threatening the impending lip locking. Once their kiss was finished, many of them appeared bashful and embarrassed, unable to hide behind the alcohol fuelled mask so many students wear for first kisses.

Manager of the university’s TV station, Will Pope, said: “It was quite a tense atmosphere in the studio – a lot of the participants weren’t at home in front of the camera which may have been a bit daunting… It was great fun, and the footage we got was really heart-warming, Their reactions are so human.”
