As part of StyleLikeU's "The What's Underneath Project," personal stylist Karyn Starr spoke about having a breast reduction surgery when she was 21, her secret struggle with depression, and holding her miscarried baby in her arms.
She explained: "I started to bleed and I had the feeling like I had to go to the bathroom.
"I passed the baby, and I picked him up - so little, but perfect."

Going on to explain how she flew to new orleans for her friends wedding just days later, she tearfully said: "It was one of the hardest things I've ever done, because I was suffering.
"But it was so important that I was there for her."
Throughout this exchange, Karyn is undressing to reveal her (then) 9-months-pregnant body.

"My body is a good place to be because I'm cooking this guy," she says fondly, cradling her belly.
"This is my vessel. This is how I can experience love in this world… so I feel lucky."
The result is a deeply powerful reflection on body image and pregnancy in a modern world.
