Pit bull dogs are often thought of as dangerous by many, but, in this video, they are seen as calm, family friendly, and - above all else - obedient.

A little girl, aged 4, can be seen standing with the pack of six dogs, barely standing taller than them.

Yet, despite her diminutive size, the well-trained hounds wait patiently as she gets their dinner ready and thanks them individually for being so good.

In fact, when one goes to move towards his dinner without permission, the little girl claps her hands and he immediately sits back down.

Eventually she asks: "Ok guys, are you ready? Are you guys hungry?"

Only after counting to three does she let any of the pets go near their dinner, before they surge forward and begin gobbling up their biscuits.

The camerawoman, possibly the girl's mother, says: "Six male pit bulls, some people say it could never be done.

"They live and eat together. We are a family.

"That was a four-year-old, who was able to tell those dogs what to do and when to do it."

Yet, despite the fact that the little girl is clearly in command of her pets, plenty of people have responded to the video in outrage.

One horrified viewer responded: "She is in danger! Where are her parents?"

Another added: "I wonder if you ever leave your daughter alone in a room with all or even one of these dogs? I know I wouldn't trust them."

Still one more said: "I like dogs; they are nice most of the time - in fact, they are nice 99.99% of the time.

"But it only takes that 0.01% for your young son or daughter to be killed by one."

Despite this, and despite the history of violence associated with pit bulls, many others have pointed out that the little girl was in no danger.

One said: "Dogs are never born bad. They are raised bad."
