As many of our readers will know, either through experiencing it themselves or seeing it happen to someone else, women are harassed daily on the streets.
From wolf-whistles to sleazy comments, the issue is one which doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.
Especially as so many of the people doing it have dismissed it as being "nothing serious".
But would they feel differently if the woman they were catcalling was their own mum?
Judging by THIS video, the answer would be a very big yes.
Boxing brand Everlast identified two men with a bad habit of catcalling and contacted their mothers, who agreed to walk past their sons in disguise and see what happened.
Cue one mother attacking her own son with her handbag - and a LOT of public shaming.
Check it out:
"I'm ashamed that you're my son."
Ouch.
Some have accused the video of being staged, but, either way, it definitely gets the point across.
Men should learn to respect women, full stop - and treat them as they would their own mother.
