Colin Lambert's grandmother says she only took her eyes off of the 18-month-old for a moment to check a text message when the tyke took off into the claw machine.

She told NBC affiliate WBIR: “I grabbed his feet and tried to pull him back out. He kicked my hand, and he got in.

“He went in. He climbed up on the shelf and then he climbed over the glass partition and sat down in the toys and played with the toys.”

She added: “My biggest fear was that he was going to climb back over and try to get back out.

“The plastic they had that held the toys in was cracked and broken in several places. I was afraid he was going to try to climb over and get hurt.”

COULD THIS BE THE MOST INAPPROPRIATELY HILARIOUS DRAWING A CHILD HAS EVER DONE?

Thankfully the little boy was rescued by firefighters, who quickly freed the boy from the machine and allowed him to keep one toy for all of his hard work.

Phew!
