The ex-naval infantryman, who uses the pseudonym Captain Kaye, has claimed he spent 17 years of his military service on Mars.

AKA the Red Planet.

Captain Kaye told ExoNews TV that he was posted to Mars to protect five human colonies from indigenous Martian life forms, spending nearly three years in a secret 'space fleet' run by a multinational organisation called the Earth Defence Force.

Apparently the air is breathable on the surface of Mars - and the temperature is warm at all times. Which sounds very nice, for those looking for a truly unique holiday experience.

During his 17 years of duty, Captain Kaye claims he came across two indigenous species on Mars, both of which are highly intelligent.

One of these is a 'Reptilian species', that was very aggressive in defending its territory, and the other is an 'Insectoid species', again a special equally capable of protecting its territory.

Captain Kaye was supposed to serve 20 years on Mars, but, after 17 years, events apparently changed dramatically when virtually all combat personnel from the Mars Defense force were asked to retrieve an extraterrestrial artefact from a cave sacred to the indigenous Reptilians.

Talking with ExoNews TV, Kaye described how over 1000 men and women were killed in a subsequent battle and only 28 of his colleagues, including himself, survived.

A retirement ceremony on the moon, that Kaye claims was presided over by VIPs including ex-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, marked the end of his service - and now the US marine is seeking documents to verify his experiences.
