Last night, Luis Suarez took Uruguay to victory against England in the World Cup 2014.

And now, in an emotional address from his dressing room, the footballer revealed that his two goals were 'revenge' against England for 'laughing about him' in the past.

Because, while the Liverpool striker was Uruguay's hero, he has not been the subject of positive press back her in the UK.

He was banned for biting Chelsea player Branislav Ivanovic in 2013 - and Suarez was also banned for racism in England.

However the criticism he has received for his actions seems to have made a big impression on Suarez - albeit not necessarily in the way we expected.

Speaking from his changing room, he said: “I’ve dreamed this. Before the game, too many people in England laughed about my attitude over the last few years.

“Maybe a few days ago, I thought this wouldn’t be possible.”

It seems as if Uruguayan fans are more than happy about Suarez's reputation as a 'biter', bellowing anthems praising the striker for his actions before the England game.

The song went roughly like this: "Suarez the fox is coming for you England. He's going bite Rooney's a**e."

Meanwhile England’s survival in the World Cup 2014 looks bleak, depending on Italy winning tonight's game against Costa Rica.

Italy’s Mario Balotelli, obviously aware of this, tweeted last night: "If we beat Costa Rica I want a kiss, obviously on the cheek, from the UK Queen."

Fingers crossed for tonight!
