Ramapo College of New Jersey based in Mahwah, New Jersey, held an hour long presentation which attempted to address the growing statistic which shows that 1 in 5 women will be a victim of sexual assault during their time at university. Quite a responsible and proactive act indeed, if the school's Substance Abuse & Violence Prevention coordinator, Cory Rosenkranz, had not used the time to effectively make rape the responsibility of the victim.
'ANTI-FEMINIST' ADVISES WOMEN TO GET MARRIED TO AVOID SEXUAL ASSAULT
Rosenkranz focused on how female students should dress, how much they should drink and how they should alter their body language in order to decrease their chances of being victimised. One of her tips called for women to practice their facial expressions in the mirror in order to curb any that might invite targeting.
"She was saying that women need to watch their body language and that women should practice how they articulate their face [in a social setting] by practicing in the mirror," Brandon Molina, a current student at the University reported to the Ramapo News. "My thought the whole time was maybe women shouldn't practice how long they're blinking, men should just not rape people."

The school's Center for Health and Counseling Services defended the measure, saying that it "educates students about the elements of healthy relationships, the importance of sexual consent and the role of bystanders in creating safe, healthy communities". A rather contradictory statement as it implies that these complicated forms of social interaction can be boiled down to something as fleeting and unthinking as a blink of an eye or a toss of a head.
