Weather forecasters have predicted an Easter heatwave, but we might have to get through one last cold spell first.
According to the weather experts, some parts of the UK could see heavy snow this week.
The wet and windy weather from the weekend could continue – but at least we have the prospect of a hot Easter to get us through.
We could see hotter weather than Spain over the holiday, with temperatures topping 21C.
That’s not all. After what has seemed like the longest, coldest winter ever we could be set for above-average temperatures for the majority of summer.
Jim Dale for the British Weather services told the Express: “I would be very surprised if we don’t see some hot weather in the latter part of spring and going into summer.
“A hotter than normal late spring and summer is more probable than not and it is possible it might happen in April.
“We will definitely see those occasions when we are hotter than Spain.
“We could be in for a ‘hit’ year which will almost certainly bring a surprise rather than a shock to the system.”
A hotter summer is ALMOST compensation for us basically living in our Parkas for the last four months.
With last August the coldest for over 20 years, lets hope these predictions are accurate!
