There's no denying that a glass or two of wine can lead to us making an embarrassing decision or two, but none quite so regrettable as this.
Passengers in the family lane at airport security were left open-mouthed when two mothers - both of whom had enjoyed an early morning bottle of wine - stripped off completely in airport security.
Lady Kelly Hadfield-Hyde, 51, and Ann Chadwick, 48, were due to catch a flight to Malta from Manchester Airport with a friend and a young child - but, clearly, they weren't in too much of a hurry to get there.
And yesterday, after courts saw the footage of the two women unexpectedly stripping off, the pair were sentenced for public order offences.
The duo were arrested at Manchester Airport, but have since blamed security guard Abdullah Mayet for the incident.
"He was pointing, saying: 'Off'. I said: 'Just my jacket?' He was saying: 'Off, off, all off.'"
Obviously Mr Mayet denied this and the lawyer for the prosecution told the courts: "It was some flight of fancy."
"I do not know what possessed you to take your clothes off but it wasn't Mr Mayet."
Ann Chadwick, after changing her plea to guilty, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and told to pay £500 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
Lady Kelly, on the other hand, faced Trafford magistrates and was found guilty. Se had to pay a £20 surcharge, £55 fine and £850 costs.
Wow. That's a lot of money for an impromptu striptease!
She said: "OK, I took my top off and it was a bit over the top.
"But I did nothing wrong, I just did what I was told.
"I wasn't drunk, they've found me guilty for swearing, but I never swear."
Hmmm.
