Samra Kesinovic, 17, and Sabina Seliovic, 15, disappeared from their homes in Austrian capital Vienna after reportedly expressing their desire to join Islamic State.

According to reports, the young girls married Chechen militants soon after their arrival in Islamic State ‘capital’ of Rakka.

The teens are also said to both have fallen pregnant before having a change of heart.

Both Samra and Sabina wish to return home to their families in Europe.

AIR STRIKES AGAINST ISLAMIC STATE TO GO AHEAD

Austrian Interior Ministry spokesman Karl-Heinz Grundboeck says that teenagers might find it ‘impossible’ to return to their families after choosing to runaway to the Middle East.

He said: “The main problem is about people coming back to Austria. Once they leave, it is almost impossible [to return].”

Authorites fear that they would be unable to return home due to their faces now being so recognisable after becoming ‘poster girls’ for Islamic State.
