Teenager, 16, reveals photos of her being raped went viral: ‘Everybody knows’

A 16-year-old girl has revealed she only found out she was the victim of date rape after logging onto Twitter, only to find photographs of the horrifying incident had gone viral

Jada, 16, accepted an impromptu invite to the home of a friend of a friend last month - but what happened inside that house became a nightmare for the 16-year-old high school junior.

Speaking which KHOU.com, Jada revealed the teenage boy hosting the gathering offered her a drink of punch.

She now believes he had spiked it with a drug, as she claims she passed out and had no clue about what was happening to her.

Jada said: “I had no control.

"I didn’t tell anyone to take my clothes off and do what they did to me.”

The next morning, Jada had absolutely no clue about what had happened the night before - until she logged onto her computer.

A barrage of disturbing tweets, pictures and videos started to appear on her social media feed - and Jada learned, horrifyingly, that she had been raped the night before.

"Everybody knows.

“And everybody’s texting me are you OK? You’re going to be OK, and I was like alright.”

In a way, it's as though Jada’s been assaulted twice. Not only was she raped inside the house, but her face and body were later exposed in shocking images online, which teens shared via their mobile phones.

And, even though it's the policy of KHOU.com not to identify rape victims, Jada refused to hide.

"There's no point in hiding.

“Everybody has already seen my face and my body, but that’s not what I am and who I am.”

In the meantime, Jada remains haunted by the reminders of her ordeal - and hopes that police, who are investigating the claims, will make an arrest soon.
