18-year-old Madeline Stuart has been challenging stereotypes of beauty by pursuing a modelling career, and her latest contract proves that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
After losing 40 pounds taking up sport, Madeline has managed to win a contract with fitness brand Manifesta.
The teenager shared the happy news on her Facebook page, and the post has since garnered 384,000 ‘likes’.

She shared several gorgeous ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures, writing: "18 months ago I decided to turn my weight around and to concentrate on my health. This is the outcome.

I found this photo of me today on instagram, the one on the left was 77 weeks ago and the one on the right is last week. I still get shocked at the difference. So happy to be healthy > >

Her mum, Roseanne, has since added: "People with Down's Syndrome can do anything, they just do it at their own pace. Give them a chance and you will be rewarded beyond your greatest expectations."
Australian Madeline hopes to inspire other people of all shapes, sizes and abilities to pursue their interests and take care of their bodies, too.
Despite suffering from a heart condition, she enjoys dancing, gymnastics, cheerleading and basketball.
