We wouldn’t usually be up for inking little kids with sleeves that could rival the most dedicated of tattoo addicts, but we’ve made an exception in this one case.

And that's because airbrush artist Benjamin Lloyd from New Zealand is doing it to help cheer up sick children in the local area.

Oh, and all those tattoos? They're just temporary body art.

What a guy, eh?

Starting off as with pretty modest aims, the ink-spiration posted to his Facebook account, asking for just 50 likes to pump him up to head down to the local kids hospital to treat the little ones to a day of fun.

He described: “Nothing brings me more joy than boosting kids confidence with a custom tattoo."

20K shares and 194K likes (woah!) later, and the artist lived up to his word.

And the results are totally stunning, and we must admit it melted our hearts to see the pure joy in the face’s of the ink-up brave kids.

See for yourselves…

Watch him at work here:

Unsurprisingly, the snaps of the hospital patients rocking their newest ink have taken the internet by storm, and many people praised both his skill and commitment to cheering up the children in the comment section.

“You’re a rare gem...keep rockin these little angels out."

“Look at those smiles! They melt your heart! And all because you have taken the time to not only ink them, but you talked with them, spent time with them, got to know them, and made them feel special!!”

“Mate you're an absolute legend! To see a sick child with a smile on their face like in these photos absolutely melts my heart! One of very few people who will go out of their way to help someone else keep it up bro well done.”

“Tattoos have made me feel more beautiful and stronger! If you can give a smile to a sick child for one minute do it”

And we couldn’t agree with them more – don’t these little kids just look out-of-this-world happy?

What do you make of this airbrush artist’s kind gesture?
