The early morning slot on ITV has been failing in the ratings war and according to a source, bosses at the TV company have poached the Strictly Come Dancing star from their BBC rivals.

And, if the reports are to be believed, Susanna will be the face of a new show, which is reportedly going to be a revival of Good Morning Britain, from as early as next week.

A source inside the company explained how the 43 year old will be hosting the show from Mondays to Thursdays, with help from two male presenters and another woman.

They added: “The 'Daybreak' saga is the most pressing issue on ITV's agenda. By ditching the 'Daybreak' name bosses are admitting it has no hope of being rescued. Instead, they are putting all their energies into a revamped 'Good Morning Britain' brand.”

And if you’re worrying about the lovely Aled, fear not, because it's claimed he's signed a lucrative deal with a weekend magazine.

So he won’t be going back to singing anytime soon.

The news comes as Susanna has allegedly split with her husband, Dominic Cotton, after it’s reported their busy schedules drove them apart.
