19-year-old student Alyssa Funk from Minnesota was bullied on social media after it was revealed she had starred in a sex film with a stranger for porn website Casting Couch X.

The film starts with Alyssa introducing herself with a stage name

She says: ‘I'm Stella Ann. I'm 18, from Minnesota, and I'm really looking forward to getting started.’

‘I want to be a major in biology, minor in chemistry, and I want to be an anesthesiologist.’

Casting Couch X encourages wannabe porn stars to upload their own amateur videos, but the website has been under scrutiny after many of its users have been revealed as young college students after being outed by their classmates.

In Alyssa’s case, she was bullied relentlessly for choosing to star in the film.

Her classmates took to social media to brand her a ‘thot’ (which is slang for prostitute) and one even wrote: ‘Does her dad know?’

When she couldn’t cope with the constant trolling, Alyssa bought a shot gun before driving to a nearby lake and killing herself.

One of Alyssa’s friends said that she believes the bullying played a major role in driving her to take her own life.

‘A lot of people are really negative about it or standing up and saying it shouldn't happen to people… Sad it's still happening, actually.’
