The 37-year-old mother has been left with devastating injuries after corrosive acid was thrown into her face outside a restaurant in the city centre.

Probably blind in one eye, Carla spoke to Solent News yesterday to reveal her injuries, after two hooded men attacked her.

Her face horrifically burned and her eyes cloudy, Carla bravely showed her face in a bid to catch the evil men behind the incident.

Police have named brother Billy Midmore, 22, and Geoffrey Midmore, 26 as their prime suspects in the attack - with the pair being seen the day after the incident enjoying a McDonalds meal.

Carla said she is still in pain and it feels like she’s being constantly ‘stabbed in the eye.’

However, the mum of five thanked bouncers outside the Turtle Bay bar in Southampton, whose quick thinking helped save the sight in her left eye.

Doctors are currently ‘not hopeful’ that Carla will regain sight in her right eye, but they have operated to try and save it.

‘I’m not sure what my future holds for me, I’m just trying to concentrate on getting my sight back and for my face to clear up a bit,’ Carla told TV cameras.

Police are now desperately hunting the Midmore brothers, who were known to the victim, and have described them as ‘dangerous individuals’ who are a risk to the public.
