Myla Dalbesio, who is a U.S size 10 (U.K. size 14) is considered too curvy for the standard fashion sizes of zero or two, but is also slightly too small to be classified as plus size, which in America is counted as a 12 and up.
PLUS SIZE MODELS PROVE 'ALL BODIES ARE BIKINI BODIES'
The 27-year-old is officially ‘bigger than all the girls [Calvin Klein] has ever worked with,’ something which the US national says she finds ‘intimidating.’
But what is interesting and encouraging about this latest Calvin Klein campaign is that Myla, who stars alongside Lara Stone, Jourdan Dunn and other traditionally sized models, is not picked up for being the plus sized one in the group.

Women have already reacted with anger on social media that tall and toned Myla could ever be considered as a ‘bigger girl,’ but the realities of the fashion industry mean that most models used in campaigns are significantly smaller than the 27-year-old.
Dalbesio has defended Calvin Klein for their decision to use her, saying: ‘It’s not like they released this campaign and were like: ‘Whoa, look, there’s this plus-size girl in our campaign.’
‘They released me in this campaign with everyone else; there’s no distinction. It’s not a separate section for plus-size girls.’
Myla stars in the campaign for Perfectly Fit - a line meant to cater to several silhouettes and to an extensive range of sizes.
