Morgan Riley-Kidney threatened the petrified 17 year old, who was pregnant, and her friend after breaking into their hostel in South London.
Riley-Kidney went on a rampage after discovering money had been taken from his girlfriend’s home. The girls were accused of stealing – which they both denied – and Riley-Kidney confronted them in a night that ended in a series of horrific violent events.
After breaking in, Riley-Kidney held a gun to the pregnant teen before holding an iron against her arm and breast. His friend, Horace-Junior Brown-Downie, then attacked the victim’s friend with the iron, branding her face and neck.
Both girls were left with horrendous burns.
The pair were later arrested after Riley-Kidney's DNA was found on the iron.
At the sentencing the court, the recorder of London said: The gravity of all these offences speak for themselves.
“Each [victim] is still affected mentally by what you all put them through. They all feared for their lives throughout a terrifying ordeal with some very cruel features indeed.”
Riley-Kidney was handed 22 years while Brown-Downie was sentenced to 17 and a half years.
