The video shows a 23-year-old substitute school resource officer beating 19-year-old Francisco Martinez before pushing him out of his wheelchair and onto the floor.

Francisco suffers from cerebral palsy and admitted to ‘spitting’ on the officer, telling local news: ‘I was handcuffed, so I didn’t have no way to defend myself but my mouth.’

The officer reportedly lost his temper after lecturing Francisco about getting to class on time.

The teenager has had to visit hospital on numerous occasions since after he was hurt when his chin slammed against the floor at his San Francisco high school.

According to reports, the security guard told Francisco that he ‘didn’t care’ that the teenager was in pain.

What wasn’t caught on camera was the guard throwing Francisco to the floor in the lift later on.

According to Francisco, the guard had previously accused him of hiding drugs in his wheelchair, ripping open the seams of his seat to find nothing was there.

The school district has since fired the security guard. He was then arrested by local police and charged with causing injury to a child. He will appear in court to face the charges next month.
