The picture of a Down’s syndrome boy shut inside a washing machine sparked outrage this week. Now new footage of the boy and his mother – which shows her throwing him roughly – has emerged.

In the video, obtained by the Daily Record, Courtney Stewart, 21, can be seen throwing her son down onto a bouncy castle so hard that his neck violently jolts. T

Then, as the toddler tries to crawl away, Courtney can be seen pulling him back and dragging him around the rough plastic surface.

The person who passed the footage to the newspaper said: “It was horrendous to watch. She throws him from above her shoulder and he lands with a terrible jolt.

“He then crawls away before she grabs him by his ankle. It was unbelievable to watch him be dragged by the ankle like that.

“This wee boy could have suffered an injury because of the force he lands with and the way his neck moves. Something has to be done about this.”

It’s thought the video was filmed on a mobile phone in May but came to light this week after the shocking washing machine video.

After the washing machine photograph came to light, Courtney said she was just “having a laugh” and insisted that the washing machine was un-plugged and the door was not closed.

Police confirmed they had spoken to her regarding the photograph.
