Jaylen Fryberg texted his five classmates asking them to meet him in the school canteen, before he shot two of them dead and left three critically injured.
The popular football player reportedly had a crush on Zoe Galasso, one of the deceased, who had started seeing his cousin Andrew Fryberg, who was injured in the attack.

Jaylen opened fire at Marysville-Pilchuck High School on Friday. He killed himself following the attack.
In August he tweeted: ‘I hate that I can’t live without you’ preceded by ‘Your [sic] not gonna like what happens next!!’
Over the next month, Jaylen frequently updated his Twitter with references to being heartbroken, including one tweet which read: ‘It breaks me…It actually does…I know it seems like I’m sweating it off…But I’m not…And I never will be able to…’

Jaylen shot dead 14-year-olds Zoe Galasso and Gia Soriano, and injured his cousin Andrew, Shaylee Chuckulnaskit, 14 and Nate Hatch, 14.
Nate is so far the only one who has shown improvement in his condition, and although he is unable to speak, has been tweeting from hospital.
‘I love you and I forgive you jaylen rest in peace,’ the teenager wrote on Sunday
