After being deemed ‘too dumb’ to be a mum, she’s terrified her unborn baby will be taken away by social workers – just like her two other sons.
Kerry, 22, and her husband of five years Mark, 31, an artist, have fled their home in Fife, Scotland ,and travelled to Ireland, where they hope to prove their ability to be parents.
The devastated couple - whose two other young sons, Sean*, five, and William*, three, are currently in foster care - made headlines in 2009 when they went on the run after social services claimed Kerry, who was pregnant at the time, wasn’t intelligent enough to marry or become a mum.

The couple were judged suitable parents by Irish social workers and went on to have their second son, but both boys were taken off them in June 2014 after they returned to Fife.
Kerry says: “I know I’m a good mum. I hated leaving my boys in Scotland, but I’m terrified social services will take another baby away, too. I’ve done nothing wrong and I won’t stop fighting until I’ve got my whole family back.”
