READ: Little girl, 9, pens hilariously passive-aggressive note to Tooth Fairy

This 9-year-old’s letter to the Tooth Fairy is, without a doubt, the sassiest thing we’ve read all day…

It’s always hard deciding when to tell your children that maybe - just maybe - the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny aren’t quite as real as they might think.

But, for these parents, their savvy little girl figured it all out on her own.

And, more to the point, she decided to pen the imaginary tooth-collector a pretty stern (albeit hilarious) note, which she left on her pillow for the pixie to find.

Are you ready for this?

It reads:

Dear ‘Tooth Fairy’,

I don’t believe in the tooth fairy anymore. I know it’s YOU who gets the money and puts it under my pillow, mum and dad.

I’m sorry if this is hard for you, but I’m 9 now.

P.S. I don’t believe in Santa Claus either.

*Love, *

Nice use of quotation marks there, little one.

We particularly love the final postscript, which reads damningly:

“Daddy, I knew it was you last Easter, hiding my Easter eggs.”

That told him, didn’t it?

Did this little girl's note make you smile?
