Controversial Ukraine MP Vitay Zhuravsky was exiting the parliament when a group of men grabbed him and threw him into a half-full skip.

One of the men then held his head down as protesters threw rubbish and water at him.

Shockingly, a tyre was thrown at the MP's head before crowds started shaking the bin.

Zhuravsky was dressed in a suit and clutching his briefcase threw out the attack.

Members of the army then attempt to rescue the MP by wheeling the bin away, rather than helping him out.

The incident comes after Ukrainian MPs promised to ‘ratify’ a pact with the EU following a vote in favour of offering the turbulent separatist east Ukraine ‘limited self rule’.

The decision enables free trade with Europe, which Russia worries will cause their market to be ‘flooded’ with cheaper EU goods.
