Pregnancy can bring on a number of symptoms, including bizarre and usually unappetising cravings.

But on woman found herself craving ROCKS during her pregnancy

Eight-months pregnant Silvia- who stars in TLC’s My Extraordinary Pregnancy- claims she can’t stop eating stones and rocks despite suffering from terrible health problems as a result.

Rocks make Silvia's 'mouth water'

She says: “Obviously I need to stop. I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried eating corn starch, different candies with same consistency, nothing has helped.

“I try not to go past construction sites because my system goes haywire and I wanna eat something.’

“When I see certain kinds of rock my mouth waters.”

Silvia adds: “I’ve had a lot of stomach pains from eating rocks, which is scary. I’m worried about mine and my baby’s health.”

The mum-to-be has Pica syndrome, which occurs when sufferers crave non-edible substances and non-nutritional items. This can include clay, chalk, metal and sand.
