Ah, April Fool's Day. You just can't trust anything on the 1st April, be it a story about TOWIE getting their very own spin-off movie (sorry) or a friend announcing her surprise pregnancy on Facebook.

But we doubt anybody could have seen this cruel prank coming.

Twitter user @B6_Casual tweeted a screen grab of his April Fool's Day prank, which featured an iPhone conversation between him and a girl allied Lydia.

He captioned the image: "Call me harsh, call it what you want! But, tbh, I reckon my #AprilFoolsDay prank went well!!!"

Check it out for yourself:

We just can't imagine how painful that second text - complete with bicycle emoticons - must have been for poor Lydia, wherever and whoever she is.

What's even worse is that Ant A hash tagged his tweet: "#Slag"

There have, so far, been over 8000 retweets - something which Ant is very pleased about.

But, before you criticise Ant's actions, he has a message for everyone: "People tweeting me hate on here over my April fools text to my ex that went worldwide yesterday.

"Really?

"You ever been cheated on? #Karma"

We're kind of torn here; we're not sure if we want to applaud this guy for taking revenge on the girl who broke his heart - or tell him off for being so harsh.
