Yes, really.

Five giant HUMAN traffic cones were reportedly disrupting traffic in Kingston town centre at about 04:00 GMT on Sunday 1 November 2015.

Police, clearly tickled by the strange incident, shared a picture of their call-out on Twitter.

Their report read simply: “Males dress as traffic cones.

“Blocking the road like traffic cones.”

They captioned the image: “A very interesting #Halloween style call out for our emergency response team!”

Their post was retweeted almost 1000 times - and, thankfully, one Kingston local replied with a photograph of the pesky traffic cones in action.

They wrote: “Yeah, I saw that.”

Amazing.

According to The Surrey Comet, the group were drinking in Pryzm before they started blocking traffic and had even posed for photos with police earlier in the evening.

No arrests were made - proving that, contrary to popular belief, police DO have a sense of humour!
