An outrageous text from a nightclub promoter about it’s door policy has left many people feeling hurt and insulted.

Leaked messages allegedly from promoters at London’s Cirque le Soir- a favourite haunt of Rihanna and Cara Delivingne- details bizarre criteria for entry into the club.

Female guests are asked to dress ‘hot’ and wear ‘on fleek’ make up.

The message reads:

-Bring ID

-Bring £20 cash incase (if everyone is super stunning in sure I can speak to the door girl to make it cheap or get you in completely free)

  • Look as beautiful as I can see you are!

  • No big/ fat girls/ guys (the club will turn a person away)

-Dress glamorous/ hot/ all black is advised

  • Wear good heels

  • Don’t pre drink (I’ll give you drinks on my table)

  • Be there 22:30!

In further leaked Whatsapp messages, the promoter tells the recipient that one of the girls in her group is not ‘attractive’ enough.

Girls were told that they would be charged extra
Girls were told that they would be charged extra
Girls were told to dress 'hot'

They then tell the clubber that she will have to pay more for arriving with someone who doesn’t meet their ‘standards’.

Student Elouise Bratt, 19, received one of the appalling text messages and found it an incredibly insulting strategy adopted by promoters.

She told The Mirror: “It’s disgusting and it’s discriminatory. They are wrong. It is very superficial.”

Cirque le Soir then released a statement following the release of the leaked messages.

They said: “Cirque le Soir would like to comment on recent reports in the media regarding our door policy and treatment of customers.

“We would like to distance ourselves from comments made by a so-called “promoter” who is not employed by us in any capacity and reassure you that this is not our door policy whatsoever.

“We would like to reiterate comments made have not come from anyone at Cirque le Soir, nor anyone connected to the club. We are a globally identified brand known for celebrating diversity, and remain committed to offering everyone a night out like no other.”
