According to an aid worker who had been in Iraq, the girl is a member of a minority religious group the Yazidis - who are being targeted by Islamist extremists Isis.
After being taken as a sex slave by the militants, the child was raped by 10 men before falling pregnant.
She has now been flown out of Iraq by a Kurdish aid agency, and is being treated by a medical charity in Germany.
The girl is said to be ‘mentally and physically traumatised,’ with many surrounding her scared she will not survive the ordeal.
‘This girl is so young she could die if she delivers a baby’ said an aid worker who was on the scene.
‘Even caesarian section is dangerous.’
Last week, Isis released 216 Yazidi captives who had been held for eight months, with many of that number being used as sex slaves for front line fighters.
But rather than this being a show of weakness or mercy, some experts have argued that sending the girls back was a way of bringing shame on their community, who put chastity as one of the most important things for young women.
The Yazidi people are a religious community who live predominantly in Iraq, Syria, Turkey and Armenia. In 2014, Isis announced they would target the group in an attempt to purify the region of non-islamists.
