Danny and Erin Pier, expectant first-time parents, have created what has to be one of the most moving videos ever.

As most parents will know, the nine months you spend waiting for the birth of your first child are some of the most memorable of your life.

There's the moment you discover you're expecting a baby, the moment you share the news with your family and friends, the building of the baby's cot, the blossoming baby bump... in short, there's a lot that happens between that positive test and the gorgeous little baby at the end of it.

So, inspired by other second a day videos, the duo decided to capture 9 months of pregnancy with our first child by filming just a seocnd from every day. And, at the end of it all, they stitched the scenes together for a beautifully intimate five-minute clip, which they've now uploaded on Vimeo.

Check it out for yourself below:

We love that Erin and Danny didn't focus the camera lens on one single part of their journey; they showcased themselves going about their everyday life, shopping for cribs in Ikea, walking the dogs, finding out they were expecting a little girl, sharing Christmas together and more.

And we think it is a beautiful memento of their first pregnancy.

What do you think of the timelapse video - a great way to document one of the most important parts of their life together, or a little too much overshare? Let us know below or tweet us over at @CloserOnline now.
