The heist saw the burglars reportedly 'abseil down a lift shaft' before drilling into a vault and making off with valuable deposit boxes over the Easter weekend.
And despite an apparent lull in finding the perpetrators, 200 officers took part in 12 raids yesterday, finding 'high value property' they are confident is swag from the robbery.
The suspects include 76-year-old car dealer Brian Reader, and his 50-year-old son Paul of Dartford, Kent.
Apologising for failing to respond to the alarm at the time of the burglary, commander Peter Spindler said:
'At times we've been portrayed as if we have acted like Keystone Cops. But I want to assure you that in the finest traditions of Scotland Yard, these detectives have done the upmost to bring justice to the victims of this callous crime.'
Detective Craig Turner said victims will be contacts regarding their stolen property, and is appealing for information on a Ford Transit van parked outside during the burglary.
