Sarah Markham was arrested in June when her son was less than two weeks old.
The little boy had lost 10 percent of his body weight and, instead of taking the boy to the hospital under doctors' orders, the new mum - who believes in holistic healing - tried supplementing breast milk with a vegan formula.
Sarah will face a judge tomorrow as she fights to get her now-healthy baby boy back, in what her lawyer calls an "absurd" situation.
"It's a mom trying to do the best she can, acting as a vegan, which she has every right to do taking care of her child," the lawyer told WFTV.com.

He added: "They've kept a child away from her mom.
"My client can only see her child once a week or twice a week because they're requiring the child be out of county."

Sarah insists that her parenting was far from child neglect and that as a Seventh-day Adventist, holistic healing is encouraged within her religious beliefs.
“She has done everything they've asked her to do: Mental health evaluations, drug evaluations, parenting classes, everything they've asked her to do she's done and she's done it very well, and yet we have to go to trial on this tomorrow. It's absurd,” her lawyer added.
