We know we shouldn’t care, but we can’t help it; we have a strange fascination with finding out WHO has unfriended us on Facebook - and why.

So finding out there’s an app for that has proven to be a BIG temptation.

Aptly dubbed Who Deleted Me On Facebook, the app is available as a free download on iPhone and Android.

The app promises to tell you who deleted you from their friends list since you last signed in, as well as whether that person shut down the Facebook account, or deliberately removed you from his or her friends list.

If you don’t want to install the app on your smartphone, you can always try the browser extension, which used to be a Facebook app.

There is bad news for anyone wanting to download the app right away, however.

The app, now that it’s been busy making headlines, has crashed spectacularly - and it’s all because so many people tried to log in to it at once.

Who Deleted Me consequently now has just a one-star rating in the App Store, though a spokesperson for developers The Media Dudes told BuzzFeed they were looking into the outage.

We guess people are REALLY eager to find out who their enemies in life are, eh?
