Apparently, today is the most popular day to try and get pregnant for couples in the UK.
Among the many reasons given, the most popular reason to try and get pregnant today is because many new parents want a baby born in September so that their child would be the oldest in the school year...
Hmm.

According to research undertaken by ChannelMum.com, most wannabe parents will have sex at the very precise time of 10.36pm tonight so that their dream of having a September baby will be realised.
But that's not all the research discovered - it also asked mums-to-be about the weird and wonderful techniques they're trying out in a bid to fall pregnant.
And while the 12 tips were all really rather odd, one stood out the most - 3% of wannabe mums are convinced that eating McDonald's fries will help them have a baby...
Well, any excuse right?!

2 - Eat McDonalds chips immediately after sex
3 - Eat dark chocolate every day
4 - Avoid having an orgasm for a week after sex
5 - Use reverse psychology and tell yourself you don’t want a baby, then have a wild night out and forget about ‘trying’
6 - Eat pineapples and drink pineapple juice
7 - Wear green and use green bedsheets
8 - Pierce your nose on the left side
9 - Don’t just put your legs in the air but ‘bicycle’ them for at least three minutes
10 - Sleep in total darkness. Switch off your phones, devices and wifi
11 - Do ‘dry January’ and stop drinking for a month
12 - And for the men - wear frozen underwear
