Once Christmas and New Year is over there’s really not much to look forward to during cold and dark January.
But fortunately the Warwick Rowers have something to cheer us all up - their 2017 naked calendar.
The Warwick University students who are members of the sports club have been whipping off their clothes for charity since 2009.
Their naked almanac has raised more than £200,000 and has been sold in 80 countries since its launch.
And this year the hot academics have paraded nude in front of the camera to support charity Sport Allies, an organisation they founded which aims to tackle homophobia in sport.
One member of the club said: “Sport doesn’t have to be a homophobic environment.
“We’re getting naked to make a point.”
Another added: “We aim to promote positive, inclusive and respectful attitudes towards people of all genders and sexualities through the content that we create.”
And their clothes-less bodies are certainly proving VERY popular as they have more than 119,000 followers on Instagram, including celebrities such as Gok Wan, Stephen Fry and Boy George.
The pictures for the calendar were shot at different locations in the UK and Spain and it was photographed and produced by Angus Malcolm.
He said: “It has been my privilege to work with the rowers to raise funds for their sport and to challenge homophobia in sport.
“I have seen the passion, dedication and commitment that they bring to both aspects of the project and I am proud of how bravely these young athletes have used their naked bodies to restate their commitment to freedom and diversity.”
