Bronte Doyne's death made headlines last week, after her devastated family revealed doctors had told her to 'stop Googling' the rare cancer that eventually killed her.
Just 16 months before she died, the 19 year old had an operation to remove a tumour and was told she would make a full recovery.
But after doing her own research online , she discovered the form of cancer she had, which only affects 200 people a year worldwide, often returns.
When she told her doctors she believed the cancer was back, her feats were dismissed.

But her suspicions were finally confirmed six months later and it was too late to treat her.
Bronte's mum, Lorraine, 50, from Nottingham told Closer: "Bronte was a strong beautiful girl. Even when she was petrified she kept smiling. But she was denied pain relief, referrals were delayed and her efforts to understand her prognosis were ignored.
"We had to do our own research. I told the clinician I knew what was happening to my daughter and something needed to be done but we were told to 'stop Googling'. When our fears were confirmed, it was too late."
