No matter how overjoyed we are at the news of being pregnant, we often can't help over the months that niggling worry deep in the back of our minds about how exactly our bodies are about to transform - some changes temporary, some forever.

And of course as soon as our little arrival says hello to the world, we fall totally in love and shrinking to size is the last thing on our minds.

But sometimes in months and years after out little ones are born, we do look back at the body we used to have longingly and sigh to ourselves.

Well one mum-of-three has taken to Instagram to remind us that we should be celebrating our post baby bodies just as much we do our former figures.

Marissa Fearon - who runs Instagram account @babiesandpushups_ - has been documenting her fitness journey since 2015, and it's a far stretch from many of the 'fitspiration' accounts we're used to seeing.

Instead of perfect abs and the finest of filters, Marissa's snaps are real, raw and show off her totally rocking post-baby body in all it's fabulousness.

One snap that has caught the world's attention is THIS image showing a close up of her stomach:

She writes:

"Realizing that my stomach will never look like some of the girls that inspired me to start bbg has probably been the hardest part of this journey.

"I still struggle with the fact that after 3 kids in 4 years it will never ever look the way sometimes I wish it would. I will always have loose skin. It will probably always be a 10 shades lighter because even though I am more comfortable in my own skin than I ever have been, I still get self conscious baring it for the world to see. It will always be marked.

"But it bares the marks of my sweet babies. My sweet babies that grew inside of it. Learning to love and appreciate our bodies for what they are now is the bravest thing a mama can do & every day I feel braver and stronger than ever.

"I am proud of this stomach, even if it less than perfect. Perfect is boring anyways."

Beautifully written, Marissa!
