Most new mums have an Instagram feed full of cute cuddles, jaunty walks and ‘first’ everythings to show off their new bub and family bliss (real or otherwise).
But this LA mum thought up a whole new angle for kiddy cool by dressing her sleeping baby in pop culture costumes.
Photographer Laura Izumikawa spent so much time staring at her baby girl she decided to bin HBO for her own costume drama.
She told the Huffington Post: “Because Joey slept so deeply, I thought it'd be fun adding little props on her just to send some hilarious pictures to our parents. It was a way to memorialize her growth and little milestones."
It all started with a bagel, moved onto some carrots and ended up a social media sensation after Joey starting sporting some hilarious celebrity looks including Disney princesses, movie throwbacks and current pol idols.
Izumikawa said: "I hope that these photos and videos will make people smile and also remind parents to have fun with their kids and not get too caught up in the seriousness of parenting."
