In the days before children, we enjoyed a weekend lie-in on a regular basis. Dozing cozily in snuggly duvets, maybe staying in our PJs until noon, we didn't realise that, once we became parents, all that would change.

Because children like to wake up early. And they very much like it when we wake up early too!

After being sick and tired of having to get up before 10am - on a SATURDAY -these savvy parents decided they needed just one morning to stay in bed.

And, to make sure their little monsters behaved while mummy and daddy caught up on their beauty sleep, they wrote a note.

A truly amazing note.
