For many, the sight of a mother breastfeeding an older child is a controversial one.
But Maha Al Musa, 52, is a mother who is happy to court controversy.
An advocate for “natural motherhood”, she recently told Channel 9's Inside Story that she believes modern mothers have lost touch with their natural mothering instincts.
And she also revealed that she has been attacked by critics online.
"I've been called a paedophile,” she said frankly.

However Maha Al Musa, who lives in Byron Bay, Australia, with her partner and three children, believes that people who hurl insults at her aren’t just insulting the idea of breastfeeding older children.
She explained: “People can say whatever they like. I know what I am doing as a mother.
"I've raised three beautiful healthy intelligent well-adjusted children and that's all that matters to me.
"My heart goes out to people who criticise me and I respect people's criticism. [But] this isn't about breastfeeding children. This is about attack and disrespect of the feminine."

In a previous interview with new! magazine, Maha said that she still breastfeeds her daughter in public, whenever she asks for milk – and she doesn't care what anyone thinks.
"To this day, she is very rarely ill and her temperament is calmer and more relaxed than the other children.
"I'll breastfeed until my daughter's 10 if that's what she wants."

However it seems as if Aminah may have decided that she doesn’t want to breastfeed anymore.
Writing on Facebook, Maha said: “My daughter a couple of weeks ago said she felt ready to stop breastfeeding but only maybe do it at night.
“I told her to do what works for her… and I fully support her decision. This week she has 4 loose teeth!
“She has been breastfeeding at night sometimes for just a minute or two and other nights a little longer and occasionally no breastfeeding.
“In a few months she will be 7… how interesting that the natural wean age often corresponds with teeth loss and the age of 7-8???”
Do you agree - should people stop judging mothers who breastfeed their children for longer?
