20-year-old Nadine Koeing from Bavaria, Germany, is alleged to have killed her newborn son with a Stanley knife.

Prosecutor Ulrike Klein said: “It would interfere with her extensive sexual and social life. She said she slit his throat with a carpet cutter.

“You could not bare the thought of your far-reaching sexual and social contacts being jeopardised by this baby.

“You smothered the baby and then slit its throat, causing the infant to bleed to death.”

The shocking and disgusting attack allegedly took place as Nadine wanted to attend a disco after her baby’s birth.

Ulrike Klein added: “The court heard how in February last year she was at her parent’s home where she lived when she gave birth, and 30 minutes later killed the baby so she could go to a disco.”

Nadine’s family claimed they didn’t know that she was pregnant, and she reportedly hid her baby’s body in a shopping basket by the River Danube, near their home.

Sadly, Nadine’s horrific crime was too much for her 44-year-old mother, who jumped in front of a train when police came to arrest her daughter.

She reportedly left a note, saying: “I know what my daughter did.”

Nadine was arrested 12 days after the baby’s body was discovered. She faces life imprisonment if found guilty.
