A court heard the Bosnian woman claim the Nigerian man was ‘controlling, violent and forced her to have sex with him’.

The woman also reportedly claimed the unnamed man did not like her to wear short skirts and that she was too afraid to contact the authorities.

She also said the man suggested that she would ‘look good’ in a hijab.

After a London family court concluded that he had been falsely accused the man was given custody of his 15-month-old son.

Judge Carol Atkinson, who analysed the evidence at a hearing in the East London Family Court, stated she was ‘entirely satisfied’ that the woman had ‘fabricated’ allegations.

During the hearing the woman changed her evidence, explaining that ‘what she meant’ was on occasions ‘she really did not want to have sex but he persuaded her to.’

Firstly the woman initially stated he ‘forced’ her to have sex against her own will.

Judge Atkinson went on to explain the evidence the woman had provided was ‘wholly unconvincing and utterly unreliable’.

She was told the couple met through an Internet dating website and were in a relationship for less than a year.

Details of the case emerged in a written ruling published on a legal website and the Judge did not identify anyone else involved.

The judge also added that the council which asked for rulings on the future of the 15-month-old was the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.
