Divers today found a body, following a sighting, and Superintendent Andy Huddleston told ITV News that they did “believe” the body is Euan.
He added: “We believe that it is Euan's body that has been recovered today. For that reason, we have informed his parents of that. However, there will be a formal identification at the beginning of next week.”
Friends of the law student have been campaigning to find Euan, who’s originally from Leicestershire, and #findEuan on Twitter has been inundated with support.
