Christina Ozturk, 23, had always dreamt of having a large family, so when she fell in love with her millionaire husband Galip, 56, the pair saw no reason to hang around.
With money being no object, the couple paid surrogate mothers to carry their children for £7,000 each.
Incredibly, within just 10 months, Christina and Galip became the proud parents of a staggering 10 babies – but they don’t plan on stopping there. In fact, Christina has even mentioned they’d love to have 105 children!
Christina, who was already mum to Victoria, now six, from a previous relationship when she met Galip in 2018 says, “I’ve always wanted a huge family. I loved the idea of having lots of children the same age, growing up together.
“It made sense to use surrogates – the children would still be genetically ours, but we could have them all at once. Not getting pregnant myself meant I was fit and well to take care of them all. I enjoyed being pregnant with Victoria, but I know there’s more to being a mum than carrying a baby, so I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything.
“We were totally invested in each pregnancy. We kept up-to-date with scans and test results, and either myself or Galip were there for each of the births.”
The couple’s first child together, Mustafa, was born in March 2020. He was followed by Maryam in April, and twins Ayrin and Alice two days later. Next was Anna, who was born in July, and Ismail and Mehmet who were both born in August, 11 days apart. Akhmet was born in September, followed by Lokman in November. Their most recent addition is Olivia, who arrived in January 2021.
As an only child, Christina always knew she wanted a big family. In the summer of 2018, Christina, originally from Moscow, Russia, went on holiday to Batumi – a resort in Georgia known as “the Las Vegas of the Black Sea”. It was there that she met millionaire property and transport magnate, Galip.
She says, “I knew he was going to be the father of my children. It was love at first sight, and by the end of the summer, Victoria and I moved to Batumi so we could be together.
“I told Galip, who already has children from his first marriage, that I wanted at least five children, and he said the same – five plus five makes ten! We loved the idea of having a house full of babies, all developing at the same time and becoming best friends. So, after 18 months together, we decided to use surrogacy services to make it happen. I’m not ruling out carrying more children myself in the future, but I’ll wait until the babies are older.”
While there are no specific surrogacy laws in Georgia, it’s becoming a more common way to build a family. Galip and Christina decided they would pay the women £7,000 each to carry their children.
Christina says, “We used a clinic that chose the surrogate mothers for us and took full responsibility for the process – we only asked that they had been pregnant at least once before and had no health issues and addictions.
“All the surrogates had to go through a counselling process and sign paperwork that confirms they had no legal right to the child they give birth to. They are implanted with embryos created using my eggs and Galip’s sperm, so they have no genetic connection to the babies at all. We were not personally acquainted with the surrogates and didn’t have direct contact with them – we thought it best to keep our distance. But we were sent scans, and every time one of the women was having a hospital appointment or a test, we’d wait anxiously for the results.
“I did like to have control over what they ate though, as I wanted my babies to be getting the right nutrients. I came up with a diet plan for all of them.”

Let's go!'
But Christina says the process didn’t go entirely smoothly. She reveals, “One of the surrogates struggled to hand our baby over to us. It must have been emotional for her, but the child was mine and Galip’s – not hers. Thankfully, she had no legal right to our baby, who is safely at home with us.”
Within just 10 months, Christina went from having one child to 11. She says, “It’s been chaotic! I’m with the babies 24/7, but thankfully I have a team of 11 nannies who work around the clock to help me too – there’s no way I could do all this by myself.
“It’s a lot of work. I wake the babies up at 6am, and feed them all using formula. Then we play some games and I put them all back down for a nap at 10am.
“When they’re asleep, I use the time to prepare their food as I cook everything myself. Before lunch I’ll take them out for a walk with the nannies – we have five double buggies!
“Afternoons are spent playing games, watching cartoons and reading books. Then it’s bath time and bed. Galip is busy at work during the day, but he rushes home to be with us.”

And despite being over the moon with her huge brood, Christina says not everyone has been so supportive. She says, “My family and friends are so pleased for us – they know we just want to give the best life to our children. But I get trolled online by people who think we’re crazy or being selfish. But Galip and I know we’re good parents, and that’s all that matters.”
But all the chaos hasn’t put Christina off wanting more – and if they really wanted to have 105 children, they’d have to have seven babies a year, for the next 15 years.
Christina says, “For now, we’re happy with 10, and when the babies are older, we might think about having more. I don’t plan on getting pregnant myself, but if I did, it would be a happy accident.
“I just can’t wait to watch my children develop their own little personalities. Having a big family is all I’ve ever wanted – it’s a dream come true.”
